Amy Ruth Hopkins has resided all over the state of Georgia from the swamps to the cities but fell in love with the Golden Isles at a very young age. "The Golden Isles are a part of who I am" she says. After attending UGA and graduating from college at Georgia Southern University, Amy had no doubt that her career would be in Real Estate and the destination for her to conduct business would be Saint Simons Island and the surrounding coastal areas. With over 16 years of professional real estate experience, Amy is serious about the business. She has worked in almost every aspect of the industry representing buyers, sellers, investors, and banks. Amy Ruth strives to be known as a hard worker with stamina, energy and creative "out of the box" ideas. Earning your trust and your loyalty is her number one goal.

Personally, Amy enjoys running, golf, paddle boarding, skiing, boating, fishing, football, softball, camping, and biking. When Amy is not outside enjoying the Golden Isles, you can find her hard at work for her clients during the day. Or, in the evenings, she can be found enjoying dinner with her very curious and wonderful young son in one of the Golden Isles' exquisite, gourmet restaurants. We have just closed on a purchase of a condo at Villas-by-the-Sea, Jekyll Island, Georgia. We found Amy because we were impressed by the detail included in one of her listings. Because we were buying this property for investment and personal use, we were very interested in the rental history of this unit. In addition we needed copies of all legal instruments relative to the condo owners' association as well as management agreements. Within a few hours of our first face-to-face meeting Amy was emailing us information. She kept us informed every step of the way. The law firm she recommended handled the details of the closing with excellence. Finally she is a kind, patient, caring woman who loves people and loves selling real estate. In our book that is one dynamic combination. We think of her as a daughter now because the care she gave to our transaction went way beyond "a job."

We found Amy to be extremely knowledgable, professional, and supportive. To begin with we didn't really know what we were looking for and Amy was very patient with us as we went from one idea to the next. Her knowledge of the local area was valuable and she did a good job of showing us properties that were suitable to our needs. She was extremely responsive to emails, phone calls and texts and kept in regular contact with us as things changed and progressed. When we settled on a property she did a good job negotiating with us and the seller's agent and gave us practical advice in making and responding to offers. She also helped us locate a contractor to make the renovations we were interested in. We think you would be in good hands if you allowed Amy to represent you.

I would recommend Amy Hopkins as an excellent relator both for the buyer and seller. Her knowledge of the area and current market has been right on target. She did a beautiful job of marketing my home in the best read real estate magazine in the area. Her listing pictures were professionally done. She is very responsive in keeping me updated on prospective buyers and giving me feedback from them. I would give Amy five out of a five star rating. She has taken much of the stress out of having my home on the market.
