Van will join his wife Sandra at Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners, Bluffton, SC. He brings more than 35 years of CPG marketing and sales experience and a broad range of valuable management skills to Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners. He spent 27 years at Quaker Oats/PepsiCo, where he led national sales teams, managed brokers, and honed his expertise in the fields of customer and contract negotiations, shopper insights, category management, trade promotion management, customer marketing, sales information systems, sales organizational strategy and design, corporate capabilities, and sales team leadership and training. He also held leadership positions at PepsiCo’s Customer Management University, the Pepsi Selling Institute, and Quaker Oats’ Center for Excellence Institute.
Van’s sales and general management experiences with PepsiCo/Quaker Oats documented his capabilities to lead rapid-growth national accounts, engineer customer turnaround, manage P&L, effect change leadership, and enhance strategic customer planning. He has a well-earned reputation for attracting “A-players,” developing and promoting individual talent, and building integrity-based high-performance teams. He has a visionary style that produces outstanding results.
Following his career at PepsiCo/Quaker Oats, Van was the CEO of Loudenslagel & Associates consultant firm. He then joined Delta Associates, a client focused consulting company dedicated to building strong capabilities in client category management, fact-based selling, insight driven presentation, and negotiation skills.
The next chapter will allow him to use the years of experiences relocating, buying and selling homes to benefit his new customers.
